AAB Proficiency Testing Service (PTS) is a leading healthcare informatics company located in Brownsville, Texas. We specialize in providing quality management testing programs used by medical laboratories and healthcare organizations to assess, monitor and improve the accuracy and reliability of their diagnostic test results.
All AAB PTS proficiency programs are designed to meet the needs of all laboratories, from a one-person specialty laboratory to an automated full service laboratory, and we are approved under the rules of the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA'88), by the Commission on Office Laboratory Accreditation (COLA), Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and state agencies to satisfy proficiency testing requirements. Many of our analytes are accepted by the CAP for laboratory accreditation purposes.
